{"id":3011,"date":"2015-09-02T14:34:28","date_gmt":"2015-09-02T13:34:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/eco-catering-equipment.co.uk\/blog\/?p=3011"},"modified":"2020-02-03T16:54:37","modified_gmt":"2020-02-03T16:54:37","slug":"staycations-provide-best-value-for-british-holidaymakers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.eco-catering-equipment.co.uk\/blog\/staycations-provide-best-value-for-british-holidaymakers\/","title":{"rendered":"Staycations provide best value for British holidaymakers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A recent study of over 3,000 people by Jury\u2019s Inn Hotel Group has revealed that two thirds of British holidaymakers will be opting for UK staycations rather than foreign holidays this year, as they feel they offer better value for money and work out cheaper than holidaying abroad.<\/p>\n<p>It is fair to say that a lot of families are still finding finances tight, that combined with the ever tightening rules on taking children out of school in term time and the massive rise in flight and holiday prices in the school holidays has meant that more UK families are looking to staycations as the best option \u2013 especially when you consider the beautiful beaches and countryside the UK has to offer.<\/p>\n<p>Top of a recent survey for increase in UK visitor numbers was Cornwall who have seen a 16% increase in visitors since 2010 , 2<sup>nd<\/sup> was London followed by the Lake district in 3<sup>rd<\/sup> , Yorkshire Dales in 4<sup>th<\/sup> and Bournemouth in 5<sup>th<\/sup>.
