How To Top Up Water Softener Salt: Hobart AMX & Premax Warewashers

Topping up water softener salt couldn’t be easier! Take a look at our quick and simple ‘how to’ video!

Hobart AMX and Premax dishwashers and glasswashers have an easy system to top up your salt. As you can see, the salt cap for these warewashers is situated in the back right hand corner of the machine.

1. Unscrew the cap
2. Place the funnel into the machine (comes with the machine)
3. Pour in water softener salt
4. Replace the cap

It’s as easy as that!

The machine will tell you when it requires a salt top up by notifying you on the control panel. Alternatively, you are also able to do this on a routine basis, as and when you wish.
